About me
Dr. Carolyn Dieter PT, DPT, PMA-CPT, CCRT, CIDN
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Certified Canine Rehab Therapist
Hi, I’m Carolyn!
I grew up on the East Coast (Connecticut and Long Island) but fell in love with Colorado after coming out to Steamboat Springs as a kid to ski.
After graduating high school, I moved to Colorado for undergraduate and graduate school. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2012 and moved to Summit County, CO after a quick travel PT job on the Oregon Coast. I worked in outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings while in Summit County. In 2015, I became a certified Polestar Pilates rehab practitioner. I believe this certification has given me a keen eye for movement dysfunction and a better understanding of efficiency of movement. My husband and I then moved to Routt County in 2017. I have worked with UCHealth SportsMed in Steamboat Springs and Oak Creek since then in outpatient orthopedics.
Although I enjoy working with people, my love for animals led me to earn my certification in canine rehab from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2022. I am thrilled to be able to use my skills as a physical therapist to help our canine family live their best lives.
Our dog, Elsa, is my favorite adventure partner. In our free time, my husband, Elsa, and I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, and camping. I also enjoy yoga, Pilates, and downhill skiing.
